A thought
Such a funny thought
I thought I would meet you
On a sunny day of autumn
With a fresh wind blowing leaves
And rays of light in your hair
Sitting somewhere in a park
Instead I met you in a cold
Winter night surrounded by
Fog of smoke and loud music
Cheap junkies and cheaper girls
Under the ground with no air
Such a funny thought
There was a time I didn't know you
Then I met you and I wrote you
A thousand words or ten thousand
Still not even close to explain
But one day I'll write you every word there is
Maybe then I'll read it and finally be able
To understand my own love and to realize
It's an epic story about how two people
Can find each other when they're not even looking
Such a funny thought
I had a life, now you're my life
I go away just to run back to you
I go to sleep just to wake up next to you
I build my future just to spend it with you
Cause you are everything I've ever wanted
I've ever needed, I've ever prayed for
And you gave me everything and nothing
At the same time: everything you have
And nothing but love and respect
Such a funny thought.
